SHIPPING INFORMATION
Plants will be shipped via United Parcel
Service, 3 day guaranteed delivery.
Orders of $80.00 and under
.. $24.00 shipping charge.
Orders above $80.00 ........ add 25% of
total.
Orders can also be picked up at the
nursery at no charge. Please call (719) 546-0047 in advance.
Mail orders will be shipped
only from April
15 - June 1st. Since most of our plants are grown from seed, the April 15
delivery date may at times not allow enough time for some plants to reach
reasonable shipping size and we may delay shipment. This will provide you
with more mature plants that will travel more safely. It has proven to be too
difficult to maintain our plants in good shape through the hot summer months, so
we have decided to discontinue our fall mail order service.
Plants will generally be shipped in 2
1/2” plastic pots and packed so they arrive in the best possible condition.
When they arrive, unpack and water your plants as soon as possible. After
planting, protect them from extreme wind and sun for a few days until they
recover from the shock of travel and transplanting.
PLANT PRICES
The price of each plant is listed as a "$ code" at the end of each plant description. The price for each "$ code" is as follow
A
= $6.25 each A* = $6.75 each
A** = $10.00 each
PAYMENT
We do not accept credit cards so please pay by check. Your check will be
cashed when your order is mailed.
GUARANTEE
We guarantee that our plants are correctly identified to the best of our ability and are all hardy at least to Zone 5 in Colorado, unless otherwise noted. If you are not satisfied with your order upon its arrival, please let us know within five days and we will replace the plants in question or refund the purchase price. We cannot be responsible for the performance of the plants in your garden.
THE MEA CULPA
It is likely that at some point you have received, or will receive, a plant that
is not the one you ordered. If it happens to you, we apologize in advance, but
more importantly, we encourage you to let us know. Much of what we grow is from
seed and, at times, seed is not correctly identified. This produces a plant with
a faulty name, and if it’s a good plant, the faulty name may be perpetuated. You
can help. Don’t be shy. If it’s wrong, we want to know.
